Following the Officers’ presentation the Applicant, Mr Coleman addressed the Committee.
Members discussed the application in detail and raised a number of questions which were responded to by the Lead Specialist: Development Management. In particular the following points were noted:
· There was no objection received from the ecological manager;
· Bridleways were not detailed in the application;
· Some of the attenuation proposed would double as an amenity area for general use and the Lead Local Flood Authority were happy this was an appropriate approach taken by the developer.
In response to some discussions regarding the Public Right of Way (PROW) and the need to be clear on the PROW being used, the Office advised he had noted this point.
Following further debate Councillor A S Fluker proposed that the application be agreed. The Chairman put this to the Committee and it was duly agreed.
RESOLVED that this application be APPROVED subject to the following conditions:
