Committee details

Duties:

1.1       The appointment of the following:

(a)        Head of Paid Service (to be recommended to the Council);

(b)        Directors;

(c)        Section 151 Officer (Local Government Act, 1972);

(d)        Monitoring Officer;

(e)        Non-Council (Independent) Members to serve on the Standards Committee (actual appointment to the Committee and tenure of office for decision by the Council).

(f)         As a temporary measure until 31 July 2019 those managers that report directly to any of the Directors.

1.2       To consider and report to the Council on appropriate levels of pay for the posts detailed in 1.1 above.
