Election of Chairperson To elect a Chairperson of the Committee for the Municipal Year. Minutes: Councillor S J N Morgan proposed that Councillor M F L Durham be elected as Chairperson of the Strategy and Resources Committee (S&R). This proposal was duly seconded.
Councillor M G Bassenger proposed that Councillor A Fittock be elected as Chairperson of the S&R. This proposal was duly seconded.
There being no other nominations, a vote was taken and the Chairperson declared that Councillor Fittock was therefore elected as Chairperson of the S&R.
RESOLVED that Councillor A Fittock be elected Chairperson of the Strategy and Resources Committee for the Municipal Year.

Appointment of Vice-Chairperson To appoint a Vice-Chairperson of the Committee for the Municipal Year. Minutes: Councillor S J N Morgan proposed that Councillor M F L Durham be elected as Vice-Chairperson of the Strategy and Resources Committee (S&R). This proposal was duly seconded.
Councillor P L Spenceley proposed that Councillor M G Bassenger be elected as Vice-Chairperson of the PGA. This proposal was duly seconded.
There being two nominations a vote was taken. As there was an equality of votes the Chairperson exercised his casting vote in support of Councillor Bassenger.
It was therefore:
RESOLVED that Councillor M G Bassenger be appointed Vice-Chairperson of the Strategy and Resources Committee for the Municipal Year. |
