It was noted that an apology for absence had been received from Councillor S White.

To elect a Chairperson of the Committee for the Municipal Year.

Councillor R H Siddal proposed that Councillor V J Bell be elected as Chairperson of the District Planning Committee (DP). This proposal was duly seconded.

Councillor R Pratt proposed that Councillor K M H Lagan be elected as Chairperson of the DP. Councillor Lagan declined this nomination.

Councillor Lagan proposed that Councillor R Pratt be elected as Chairperson of the DP. This proposal was duly seconded.

There being two nominations a vote was taken, following which the Chairperson declared that Councillor Pratt was elected as Chairperson.

RESOLVED that Councillor R G Pratt be elected Chairperson of the District Planning Committee for the Municipal Year.

To appoint a Vice-Chairperson of the Committee for the Municipal Year.

The Chairperson proposed that Councillor M E Thompson be elected as Vice-Chairperson of the District Planning Committee (DP). This proposal was duly seconded.

Councillor W Stamp proposed that Councillor R H Siddall be elected as Vice-Chairperson of the DP. This proposal was duly seconded.

There being two nominations a vote was taken, following which the Chairperson declared that Councillor Thompson was appointed as Vice-Chairperson of the Committee.

RESOLVED that Councillor M E Thompson be elected Vice-Chairperson of the District Planning Committee for the Municipal Year.
