78.	Apologies for Absence View the background to item 78. Minutes: Apologies for absence were received from Councillors W J Laybourn, C P Morley, U C G Siddall-Norman and L L Wiffen.
79.	Election of Chairperson View the background to item 79. To elect a Chairperson of the Committee for the Municipal Year. Minutes: Councillor R H Siddall proposed that Councillor K M H Lagan be elected as Chairperson of the District Planning Committee. This proposal was duly seconded. There being no other nominations it was: RESOLVED that Councillor K M H Lagan be elected Chairperson of the District Planning Committee for the Municipal Year. IN THE CHAIR : COUNCILLOR K M H LAGAN
80.	Appointment of Vice-Chairperson View the background to item 80. To appoint a Vice-Chairperson of the Committee for the Municipal Year. Minutes: Councillor R H Siddall proposed that Councillor R Pratt be elected as Vice-Chairperson of the District Planning Committee. This proposal was duly seconded. There being no other nominations it was: RESOLVED that Councillor R Pratt be appointed Vice-Chairperson of the District Planning Committee for the Municipal Year.
