To appoint a Chairman for hearing

Minutes:

Councillor R G Boyce proposed that Councillor Mrs M E Thompson be elected as Chairman, this was duly seconded and agreed.

 

RESOLVED that Councillor Mrs M E Thompson be appointed Chairman for the meeting.

The Chairman drew attention to the list of notices published on the back of the agenda.

There were none.

Disclosure of Interest

To disclose the existence and nature of any Disclosable Pecuniary Interests, other Pecuniary Interest or Non-Pecuniary Interests relating to items of business on the agenda having regard to paragraphs 6 – 8 of the Code of Conduct for Members.

Adjournment of the Meeting

Minutes:

The Chairman advised that she would be adjourning the meeting at this point as there were some technical issues that Mr Quelch, the Council’s Solicitor and the Licensing Officers wished to discuss with the applicant.

 

RESOLVED that the meeting be adjourned at 10:02.

Resumption of Business

Minutes:

RESOLVED that the meeting of the Licensing Sub-Committee be resumed in open session at 10:50.

On resuming the meeting the Chairman advised that the applicant, Mrs Ross wished to make a statement.

 

Mrs Ross informed the Committee that she would be withdrawing both Temporary Event Notices (TEN) and in relation to the event on 29 May 2020 she would be resubmitting a TEN which she believed Environmental Health would happy with.  This was noted by the Committee.
