To appoint a Vice-Chairperson of the Committee for the Municipal Year.

The Chairperson proposed that Councillor S J N Morgan be elected as Vice-Chairperson of the Licensing Committee. This proposal was duly seconded.

Councillor E L Stephens proposed that Councillor A M Lay be elected as Vice-Chairperson of the Licensing Committee. This proposal was duly seconded.

There being two nominations a vote was taken. As there was an equality of votes the Chairperson exercised his casting vote in support of Councillor Morgan.

It was therefore:

RESOLVED that Councillor S J N Morgan be appointed Vice-Chairperson of the Licensing Committee for the Municipal Year.

To appoint a Vice-Chairperson of the Committee for the Municipal Year.

Councillor N J Swindle proposed that Councillor N D Spenceley be elected as Vice-Chairperson of the Overview and Scrutiny Committee (O&S). This proposal was duly seconded.

Councillor E L Stephens proposed that Councillor L J Haywood be elected as Vice-Chairperson of the O&S. This proposal was duly seconded.

There being two nominations a vote was taken. In the vote for Councillor Spenceley there was an equality of votes and the Chairperson exercised his casting vote against the vote for Councillor Spenceley as Vice-Chairperson. Following a vote for Councillor Haywood the Chairperson declared that Councillor Haywood was elected as Vice-Chairperson of the O&S.

RESOLVED that Councillor L J Haywod be appointed Vice-Chairperson of the Overview and Scrutiny Committee for the Municipal Year.

At this point the Chairperson commented that he wished to align himself with he Comments made by the Chairperson of the Council during the Statutory Annual meeting of the Council regarding former Councillor Peter Elliott. As he would also be the Chairperson of the O&S (meeting as the Crime and Disorder Committee) he took the opportunity to wish Chief Constable B J Harrington a long and healthy retirement and expressed his gratitude for the support given during challenging times, including agreeing to a police hub at the Council offices.

To appoint a Vice-Chairperson of the Committee for the Municipal Year.

The Chairperson proposed that Councillor A M Lay be elected as Vice-Chairperson of the Joint Standards Committee. This proposal was duly seconded.

There being no other nominations it was:

RESOLVED that Councillor A M Lay be appointed Vice-Chairperson of the Joint Standards Committee for the Municipal Year.

To appoint a Vice-Chairperson of the Committee for the Municipal Year.

The Chairperson proposed that Councillor P L Spenceley be elected as Vice-Chairperson of the Investigating and Disciplinary Committee. This proposal was duly seconded.

There being no other nominations it was:

RESOLVED that Councillor P L Spenceley be elected Vice-Chairperson of the Investigating and Disciplinary Committee for the Municipal Year.

To appoint a Vice-Chairperson of the Committee for the Municipal Year.

The Chairperson proposed that Councillor M E Thompson be elected as Vice-Chairperson of the District Planning Committee (DP). This proposal was duly seconded.

Councillor W Stamp proposed that Councillor R H Siddall be elected as Vice-Chairperson of the DP. This proposal was duly seconded.

There being two nominations a vote was taken, following which the Chairperson declared that Councillor Thompson was appointed as Vice-Chairperson of the Committee.

RESOLVED that Councillor M E Thompson be elected Vice-Chairperson of the District Planning Committee for the Municipal Year.

To appoint a Vice-Chairperson of the Committee for the Municipal Year.

The Chairperson proposed that Councillor A M Lay be elected as Vice-Chairperson of the Central Area Planning Committee. This proposal was duly seconded.

There being no other nominations it was:

RESOLVED that Councillor A M Lay be elected Vice-Chairperson of the Central Area Planning Committee for the Municipal Year.

To appoint a Vice-Chairperson of the Committee for the Municipal Year.

The Chairperson proposed that Councillor L L Wiffen be elected as Vice-Chairperson of the North Western Area Planning Committee. This proposal was duly seconded.

There being no other nominations it was:

RESOLVED that Councillor L L Wiffen be elected Vice-Chairperson of the North Western Area Planning Committee for the Municipal Year.

To appoint a Vice-Chairperson of the Committee for the Municipal Year.

Councillor V J Bell proposed that Councillor A Fittock be elected as Vice-Chairperson of the South Eastern Area Planning Committee. This proposal was duly seconded.

There being no other nominations, it was:

RESOLVED that Councillor A Fittock be appointed as Vice-Chairperson of the South Eastern Area Planning Committee for the Municipal Year.

To appoint a Vice-Chairperson of the Committee for the Municipal Year.

Councillor S J N Morgan proposed that Councillor M F L Durham be elected as Vice-Chairperson of the Strategy and Resources Committee (S&R). This proposal was duly seconded.

Councillor P L Spenceley proposed that Councillor M G Bassenger be elected as Vice-Chairperson of the PGA. This proposal was duly seconded.

There being two nominations a vote was taken. As there was an equality of votes the Chairperson exercised his casting vote in support of Councillor Bassenger.

It was therefore:

RESOLVED that Councillor M G Bassenger be appointed Vice-Chairperson of the Strategy and Resources Committee for the Municipal Year.

To appoint a Vice-Chairperson of the Committee for the Municipal Year.

Councillor W Stamp proposed that Councillor M G Neall be elected as Vice-Chairperson of the Performance, Governance and Audit Committee (PGA). This proposal was duly seconded.

Councillor S Dodsley proposed that Councillor N D Spenceley be elected as Vice-Chairperson of the PGA. This proposal was duly seconded.

There being two nominations a vote was taken, following which the Chairperson declared that Councillor Neall was appointed as Vice-Chairperson of the Committee.

RESOLVED that Councillor M G Neall be appointed Vice-Chairperson of the Performance, Governance and Audit Committee for the Municipal Year.
