To elect a Chairperson of the Committee for the Municipal Year.

Councillor S J N Morgan proposed that Councillor M F L Durham be elected as Chairperson of the Licensing Committee. This proposal was duly seconded.

Councillor E L Stephens proposed that Councillor A M Lay be elected as Chairperson of the Licensing Committee. This proposal was duly seconded.

There being two nominations a vote was taken. As there was an equality of votes the Chairperson exercised his casting vote in support of Councillor Durham.

It was therefore:

RESOLVED that Councillor M F L Durham be appointed Chairperson of the Licensing Committee for the Municipal Year.

To elect a Chairperson of the Committee for the Municipal Year.

Councillor L J Haywood proposed that Councillor A S Fluker be elected as Chairperson of the Overview and Scrutiny Committee (O&S). This proposal was duly seconded.

Councillor R H Siddall proposed that Councillor N D Spenceley be elected as Chairperson of the O&S. This proposal was duly seconded.

There being two nominations a vote was taken. As there was an equality of votes the Chairperson exercised his casting vote in support of Councillor Fluker.

It was therefore:

RESOLVED that Councillor A S Fluker be appointed Chairperson of the Overview and Scrutiny Committee for the Municipal Year.

IN THE CHAIR : COUNCILLOR A S FLUKER

To elect a Chairperson of the Committee for the Municipal Year.

Councillor J C Stilts proposed that Councillor P L Spenceley be elected as Chairperson of the Joint Standards Committee. This proposal was duly seconded.

There being no other nominations it was:

RESOLVED that Councillor P L Spenceley be appointed Chairperson of the Joint Standards Committee for the Municipal Year.

IN THE CHAIR : COUNCILLOR P L SPENCELEY

To elect a Chairperson of the Committee for the Municipal Year.

Councillor W Stamp proposed that Councillor M E Thompson be elected as Chairperson of the Investigating and Disciplinary Committee. This proposal was duly seconded.

There being no other nominations it was:

RESOLVED that Councillor M E Thompson be elected Chairperson of the Performance, Governance and Audit Committee for the Municipal Year.

IN THE CHAIR : COUNCILLOR M E THOMPSON

To elect a Chairperson of the Committee for the Municipal Year.

Councillor R H Siddal proposed that Councillor V J Bell be elected as Chairperson of the District Planning Committee (DP). This proposal was duly seconded.

Councillor R Pratt proposed that Councillor K M H Lagan be elected as Chairperson of the DP. Councillor Lagan declined this nomination.

Councillor Lagan proposed that Councillor R Pratt be elected as Chairperson of the DP. This proposal was duly seconded.

There being two nominations a vote was taken, following which the Chairperson declared that Councillor Pratt was elected as Chairperson.

RESOLVED that Councillor R G Pratt be elected Chairperson of the District Planning Committee for the Municipal Year.

IN THE CHAIR : COUNCILLOR R G PRATT

To elect a Chairperson of the Committee for the Municipal Year.

Councillor J C Stilts proposed that Councillor P L Spenceley be elected as Chairperson of the Central Area Planning Committee. This proposal was duly seconded.

There being no other nominations it was:

RESOLVED that Councillor P L Spenceley be elected Chairperson of the Central Area Planning Committee for the Municipal Year.

IN THE CHAIR : COUNCILLOR P L SPENCELEY

To elect a Chairperson of the Committee for the Municipal Year.

Councillor C P Morley proposed that Councillor M F L Durham be elected as Chairperson of the North Western Area Planning Committee. This proposal was duly seconded.

There being no other nominations it was:

RESOLVED that Councillor M F L Durham be elected Chairperson of the North Western Area Planning Committee for the Municipal Year.

IN THE CHAIR : COUNCILLOR M F L DURHAM

To elect a Chairperson of the Committee for the Municipal Year.

The Chairperson proposed that Councillor V J Bell be elected as Chairperson of the South Eastern Area Planning Committee (SE). This proposal was duly seconded.

Councillor A S Fluker proposed that Councillor D O Bown be elected as Chairperson of the SE. This proposal was duly seconded.

There being two nominations a vote was taken, following which the Chairperson declared that Councillor Bown was appointed as Vice-Chairperson of the Committee.

RESOLVED that Councillor D O Bown be appointed as Chairperson of the South Eastern Area Planning Committee for the Municipal Year.

IN THE CHAIR : COUNCILLOR D O BOWN

To elect a Chairperson of the Committee for the Municipal Year.

Councillor S J N Morgan proposed that Councillor M F L Durham be elected as Chairperson of the Strategy and Resources Committee (S&R). This proposal was duly seconded.

Councillor M G Bassenger proposed that Councillor A Fittock be elected as Chairperson of the S&R. This proposal was duly seconded.

There being no other nominations, a vote was taken and the Chairperson declared that Councillor Fittock was therefore elected as Chairperson of the S&R.

RESOLVED that Councillor A Fittock be elected Chairperson of the Strategy and Resources Committee for the Municipal Year.

IN THE CHAIR : COUNCILLOR A FITTOCK

To elect a Chairperson of the Committee for the Municipal Year.

Councillor M E Thompson proposed that Councillor W Stamp be elected as Chairperson of the Performance, Governance and Audit Committee. This proposal was duly seconded.

There being no other nominations it was:

RESOLVED that Councillor W Stamp be elected Chairperson of the Performance, Governance and Audit Committee for the Municipal Year.
